Super Moon - 03/12/2017

First serious Lunar imaging attempt (trust me to choose the perfect storm of a full moon and wispy clouds! )

WO Zenithstar 61 + 450D

ISO 200, 1/250s

Stacked with 32 Lights, 5 Darks, 5 Bias & 5 Flat frames

Processed with PIPP & Registax 6

Out of interest, is 512kb the limit for image uploads? Looks a bit grainy to my untrained eyes.

Yes, youre bang on - 360 focal length x 1.6 crop sensor.

Guess the use of Registax wavelets is subjective?

Registax is out of my comfort zone i'm afraid.

Re the file size, i'm not sure of the limit, but i'm guessing its higher than 512kb ?

Your image is listed as 1200 x 1200 pixels on my screen.

Very nice! It’s good to see a full moon too, in an image anyway, can’t say it’s too good to have a big Mr. B drowning out the fuzzies! 👍
