Came across this on flickr probably best close up I have seen really clear and great colours worth a share

Whoevers taken it : thats a stunning image indeed.

You'd think it was taken from an orbiting spacecraft.

 

It just goes to show what can be achieved with relatively modest equipment.

And a shot in the arm to those who say 'colour cameras' are inferior to the mono / filter variety.

I do not regard a 180mm Mak as modest equipment, nor an ASI.

Bit more info 460 frames @20fps best 50% used intermittent cloud usually 2000frames used, goofd seeing conditions
