This was supposed to be a 30 minute run on the OSC camera but weather intervened and I only got half that. philjay Posted December 22, 2017 Author Share Posted December 22, 2017 Ive only ever glimpsed it in my old C11 on occasions, Yeah the 2 stars are very distinctive. Never really tried it in my refractors though, its an object that I often forget. I think I got an image of it about 6 years ago but that was interrupted by weather also. philjay Posted December 23, 2017 Author Share Posted December 23, 2017 Theres no guarantee for good weather even when using remote areas to image from like this. This is a great set up plus location but I seem to be jinxed with either bad weather or some gremlin gets to the guiding or focus and I end up with 2 or 3 use able subs andgetting a refund on the bad subs.
