Welcome to EMS:)

Looking forward to seeing some of your images. You'll even find a place in the imaging section for non-astro photography. Ask lots of questions and you'll get plenty of help.

Hi Nick, a warm welcome to EMS.

I am just visual, so not much use for advice on astro imaging, but shout up and someone will help out.

Have fun. :)

Hi Nick.

Welcome along.

A 600 F4.....?  Thats a mighty piece of glass indeed.

Mk 1 or Mk 2 ?

We have an imager on here who uses a Canon 600 F4 (i think) with a modified 6D.

And his images are spectacular. In another league.

I see you have a new EQ5. What is your astrophotography gameplan....?

Main aim at  the moment is getting the tracking working via stellarium /backyard eos then sit back in the warm and take loads of photos ,life is to short .
