Doc Posted April 19, 2018 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Went to Warren Hills in Leicestershire today for my first trip of the season. These Green hairstreaks were newly emerged as they looked pristine. I would say there were 20 plus flying around but they hardly ever landed as they are sorting out territories at the moment. Photo's are Ok but I did miss focus on quite a few, I know I'm rusty as I haven't took photo's since August last year. Yeah we have had those in our garden as well, along with a small white. Also got a three wheatears and a cuckoo. You were covered in snow a few days back. Isn't nature wonderful.
