Bottletopburly Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 (edited) The PolarAlign in phd2 does look good , having the option to set up via Eqmod or manually unlike sharpcap though probably has an edge over sharpcap in that it only needs one star to calibrate and you don’t need to slew 90 degrees like like sharpcap , there is two videos by ken on YouTube this the manual option but he is doing one for the automated way , Edited April 27, 2018 by Bottletopburly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

+RonC Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 That's for sure Dave, at my last house I had a pier set up with a roll-over small shed. All I had to do was roll back the shed, swing the scope upto the home position and Polaris was always in the polar scope, just tweeked it into position and started alignment! Good luck with it ?
