The floods in the approach road have now gone down enough for me to get the van through. Last Friday and tuesday were the first chance Ive had to get there this year due to the floods. Trying a few things out at the moment, these were shot with 300mm telephoto on the mirrorless Oly EM1 (so FF equiv = 600mm), this means I am standing about 4 meters away from them to get focus plus this year I have made a resolution to shoot only in Raw files. No JPEGs allowed in my cameras. Bigger files but much nicer to deal with. philjay Posted May 4, 2018 Author Share Posted May 4, 2018 Waiting for the Brown Argos, Commas and Dingey Skipoers to hatch now. Last year they were quite prolific. As for the camera and lens, its sounds big but is 2/3 the size of a dslr, the lens weighs naff all so the combo is great for carrying around.
