Crazy Birds

Hopefully this will work.

This is a few videos joined together to give you some idea of the spectacle that went on for over an hour every night.

Taken on my phone so you cannot see much except the beech several hundred feet below.

So if anyone can shed some light on to what these noisy creatures are I would love to know.

Good grief, did you get any sleep with that racket?

Are you sure it is birds? Is anyone old enough to remember Sooty and sweep? I reckon it's them after a few pints. ?

Thanks all.

I was on a small island in the canaries. La Gomera

These birds only came in after dark.

They were roosting in little holes in the cliff face.

This racket started just before ten every night and lasted for about an hour and a half.

By daylight they had all gone again.

And yes I am old enough to remember Sooty and Sweep ?

I guess the only prescibed meds are earplugs or alcohol. I prefer the latter ?

Thanks Ron.

I found the noise quite therapeutic.

I would leave the apartment door open so I could listen to them whilst I went to sleep.
