Yes, I've always thought pterodactyl with that projection from the back of the head. ?

Loads of stars and nebula showing in that, very nice. ?

Ok, how do you get on with PHD 2.0? I always have problems when I try it and go back to my trusted 1.2 version!!

Hi Ron - I'm relatively new to this so I started with PHD2. Can't say I fully understand everything it does so I just leave the default settings and trust I hive got the settings right for the guidescope and camera. If it goes haywire it's usually something i've done (or not done). I'm having my HEQ5 belt modded so it'll be interesting to see if there is any difference in pointing and guiding accuracy when I get it back in service.

hi Chris, Graham did my HEQ5 belt mod a couple of years ago at Kelling, don't think it made a lot of difference to the accuracy of the mount but it sure made it quieter!!

I've been using the SW WiFi system on the mount and that really does make it a lot more accurate for sure.

Cheers

Ron
