We'd be looking at our own images of it now. But did you get your keys out of the car? I sat up and watched the NASA thing for a while before kipping in a chair with the car loaded up and ready to go. I woke at 3.30 to check things out...no chance. I found checking the weather forecast 20 times times in half an hour made no difference to the cloud cover at all, it was worth a try though. How cool would it have been to have watched first contact on the NASA site at sun set and then waited to see it this side of the pond at dawn as it left the disc...very cool I would have thought.
