Wow Steve, they look great nice to see some surface activity and great prominences. Never done any solar, I'd be interested to know what filters you have used in the shots top to bottom,

They are the same Ha image with slightly dfferent processng

Greyscale

False Colour

Invert

and the invert false coloured

Nice hedge in the middle. 

Hopefully it will continue and give a decent display once it rotates to an edge on view.

I use a PST. I've wanted a better one for years but am financially challenged. A good start these days could be a Daystar filter.
