Popular Post Doc Posted May 22, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted May 22, 2018 (edited) Had a wonderful walk around Skylarks today, saw mainly Common Blues, but there were a few Small coppers, Green Hairstreaks, and a Dingy Skipper. Also saw a wonderful female black tailed skimmer in pristine condition. The 100mm macro is a great lens, lets you get very close, but it's still pretty hard to get these shots as the butterflies very rarely settle for long so you are always up and down and eventually your knees and back aches.
