After a couple of hours welding I have turned this.

Into this.

The Base will be fixed to the slab then filled with concrete.

The slots in the outer edge of the disc will allow me to fettle the polar alignment.

The top part in place.

This will also be filled with concrete.

It is fairly large.

The discs are 800 mm in diameter.

The base is 600 mm in height.

Mount plate is on and it has all had its first top coat of paint.

Going to make a bracket to hold my old EQ 5 polar scope so I can polar align it all before I nail it down permently
