Restoring the OTA

Graham

Recommended Posts

Got back from Galvoptics this afternoon had a bite to eat and started on the OTA.

Removed all those lets say "agricultural" looking panels ready for some smart new ones.

Spent a good four hours with the big grinder with the wire brush fitted removing paint and debris.

Good bit more to do to get it ready for its make over.

Now it is on the mount it is child's play to work on.

Because of the limited slip clutches I can just push the OTA to where I want to work on it and it just stays there.

Great, so the forks make a great vice to hold the OTA in any position you want it in to work on. ?

Nice job. ?
