Venus Regulus conjunction

Tweedledee

Recommended Posts

Tonight, just after sunset low down in the west, Venus will be just 1 degree away from Regulus. Venus will be a brilliant mag -3.6 and Regulus relatively much fainter at +1.3. In the twilight Venus should be easy with the naked eye, but Regulus will be better seen in binoculars just below and left of Venus.

Well worth a look if you have access to a low western horizon.
