+RonC Posted September 18, 2018 Share Posted September 18, 2018 (edited) Perfect clear night and 4 hours+ of imaging, but I'm not happy with it!! Although it's mono (& Ha) it seems to lack definition and contrast. I spent quite a bit of time getting the focus as spot on as I could but stars still look a bit bloaty! Then having to refocus for the adding of the Ha filter was a pain but I did it properly using Deneb to focus. Maybe this adding of the reducer/flattener will help, we shall see!! Anyway results are these, Cocoon in mono, Cocoon in Ha and IC63 in Ha. All 300 sec exposures Mono x 6 Ha x 12 and IC63 Ha x 3 + Bias frames.
