Hi guys

If one was to have obtained a Canon 1000D modded camera (IR filter removed), is there any way of telling/knowing that it is a modded model other than long exposure imaging of objects (I.e M42) ?

This is the second time I used my modded 1100D. As David said a very short exposure will look pinklarge.AFF_DSS_NGC700_23_09_2018.jpg.3f1fb03eb3727d17ae0234b8a9194539.jpg

Basically true unless a cwb has been applied and you're shooting in a custom mode and JPEG format in which case, it should look normal.

So, to test it, fire off a daylight shot in full auto mode and it should have a pink hue (right side is post-mod)
