Not sure on the colour, whats the best reference for colours. Google search is so varied there must be a true reference.

Best reference for me, is whether I like the look of it. I like it because I find your colours are a nice change from the usual. ?

 

I know nothing about imaging, but enjoy seeing all the images by EMSers. ?

i was imaging this myselfthe other night managed to get a hours worth of HA before the clouds rolled in, some interesting detail in this, often over looked in favour of the witches broom.

Thats a great image.

My views on the colour is simple.

It is your picture and interpretation of what you see, as long as you like it then that is all that matters. ?

As Graham says, if you like it thats all that counts. Its all subjective and in the eye of the beholder.

The star colours are what I look for if Im trying to sort the colours. If they look natural your about there. These are a tad magenta, a  tweak on the star colours to get the white point more natural will give another take on it.
