Purchased a Canon 70 / 300 zoom lens in preparation for my up coming trip to La Palma  and have been seeing what it can do.

Plugged into my un-modded Canon EOS 1300 D

Single frame of 1 / 1000 exposure at full zoom.

ISO - 800

Cropped down in size but no processing. 

For a single hand held exposure I am quite impressed to say the least.

Mind this lens does have the image stabilizer and it works extremely well.
