So, with IAS just gone, we have European Astrofest in Kensington to look forward to 8/9 February, but I just found another that I didn't know about. The Practical Astronomy Show 9th March in Kettering. Free entry and free talks, all the usual vendors and a few new ones. ?

I thought you would have had that on your radar, since it is in your neck of the woods. ?

Look on the lighthouse theatre regular same venue nowt popped up , it will be in the big hall it’s a good venue and has a kids kingdom so if you have small kids drop them off next door with the mrs ? or grandkids , easy access off A14

Cheers. Would have been useful 15 years ago but mine are late teens and early 20's now, and I'm NOT ready for grand kids yet! ?

Thanks for posting this Pete.

You know i can't resist an astro show......but this is one i'd not heard about.

I've had a look at the calendar : and its my weekend off ?

Better still its a 15min walk from Kettering rail station, and i have free travel pass i hardly ever use.

Its in next years diary already......
