Nice image.?

I plan to have a go at 'Bernards Loop' at some point Alec.

Have you had a go at it ?

 

What sort of exposures would i need ?

I'll be using a Canon 6D and was hoping my 135mm lens would fit it in....but it may not.

I've never had a go at that before, my only real possibility would be to use my un-modded Nikon as I dont have a lense for the Canon 1100D.  Have a look at this link has some nice data:-

If my calculations are correct, you should fit the bulk of it in with that combination giving nearly 15 x 10 degrees.

 

Don't know how long you'd need on it though, I suspect a while. Great wide field target though, and one I'd like to try. ?
