A very mixed month weather wise, a month of two halves to coin a phrase,  but it didnt stop some folks getting out there and imaging.

Deep sky

ibbo gave us some nice NB colour images

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15202-sh2-171-sho/ the hubble pallet has really brought this one out.

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15272-ngc1499-4-pane-mosaic/

Peter Shahs Iris nebula is stunning

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15204-the-iris-in-rgb/

Alec gave us a good M45

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15209-first-time-on-m45-2018/

Chris P gave us NGC1333 in Perseus, plenty of dark stuff in there

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15245-ngc1333-in-the-constellation-perseus/

Sheilas M1 shows loads of detail

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15250-m1-longer-subs-for-me-guided/

to be followed by a detail packed shot from Kelling

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15249-ic5070-new-kit-kelling/

and then NGC7000 from Cornwall

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15277-ngc7000-from-cornwall/

8472 chose a slighly different object to image, Kembles Cascade

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15281-kembles-cascade/

Lunar

A couple from Ibbo who "doesnt do the moon"

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15257-luna-15-11-2018/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15266-luna-17-11-2018-ir742/

Binoviewer gave us an 80% moon

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15267-lunar-18-nov-80-sunlit/

Solar

Despite us being in a solar minimum there are a few things going on with our nearest star as shown by

Graham

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15239-solar-from-today-11112018/

Ibbo

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15248-sol-13-11-2018-ha/

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15258-sol-15-11-2018/

Widefield

Sunnyphil gave us a wide shot of Perseus

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15226-perseus-so-far/

The colours are coming through nicely in this shot of NGC225 from Bottletopburley

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15268-ngc225-the-sailboat-️-cluster/

As ever, loads of great images including those not mentioned above but in order to keep the round up a sensible length I have to leave some out. But keep taking the pictures and posting them folks.

OK so which image stands out above all others for me this month? Gawd you dont make it easy do you J

Its a close run thing this month between 3 folks.

Peter Shahs Iris nebula

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15204-the-iris-in-rgb/

Ibbos Sh2-171

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15202-sh2-171-sho/

and Sheilas IC5070 from Kelling

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/15249-ic5070-new-kit-kelling/

Not an easy one as they all have the wow factor but I think the biggest wow goes to Peter Shahs Iris Nebula

Congratulations Peter. 👍

It's the best image I've seen of the Iris nebula. Never seen the surrounding dust come out so intensely.

Lots of great images to choose from, cheers Phil. 👍

Wow thank you so much.... Well done to everyone mentioned especially Sheila and Steve really beautiful images. Its a massive change to get anything with the limited clear nights we all get. I hope we all get some clear moonless nights soon.
