I'd like to see an astro-themed cake.

Can't find the photo now, but for my 50th birthday (a long time ago) I got a cake as a surprise. It was a circular cake and I was told it was Venus. Initially I was slightly bemused as it had lots of intricate surface detail on it. I tend to think of Venus as completely shrouded in cloud. When I had a look in one of my books, I was amazed to find a radar map showing the surface of Venus, which was exactly like the cake. My wife had paid a professional to make the cake. The cake maker probably didn't realise they had copied a radar map, but they'd certainly done an accurate and impressive job. I was well pleased. ?

Here is a slightly astro themed cake my wife made several years ago. I love chocolate cake, and this one was even more chocolatey than it looks...

I was away on business for my 50th but had a Coronado PST as a present. The rest, as they say, is history!

The cake was lovely but I'd have preferred a PST??
