A few traces from last night and this morning.

Recommended Posts

Last night was very quiet.

Went to bed at 4.15 ish and left it to its own devices.

Typically just after I went to bed the action started and continued through this morning all of which I missed ?

Thanks goodness for auto recording.

The length of the trail is measured in time and the height is the frequencies it creates .

There is 20 seconds between each marker line.

I would logically assume the longer and wider the trail the larger the meteor as it would take longer to burn up.

I would also assume that any trace that is short lived but has a wide frequency response would be caused a meteor vaporizing on impact with the atmosphere.

Using this logic I figure if the frequency increases over time then due to the Doppler shift the meteor is moving towards me from France.

This is just my take on things, it could and probably is totally wrong. ?

As ever I am willing to learn from anyone who can supply the correct information.
