I wonder if anyone has this scope, I've had many scopes but a long time ago.

I recently purchased this scope and have found that the scope is very stiff to move when not guided by motors.

Is this normal for this scope the base is the hardest part to move.

I've taken the scope off the base but on taking the motor cover off don't really see anything that I could adjust.

Any help on this scope would be greatly appreciated.

I've also had trouble getting it to even align with the 2 star method it's always a little way out.

Thanks

Hi Darrell, welcome to EMS.

Sorry, but I can't advise regarding your problem, but I think there are others on the forum with similar scopes.

Please tell us a bit more about yourself in the Introductions section.

BAZ

If I remember correctly, Doc had the 300mm version and ended up taking a gear out, so that it moved freely and wasn't a goto any longer.
