Sorry for the late call but Ive just got back in and seen tonights suppossed to be clear.

I want to test the binoscope under darker skies than here so was wanting to pop up to Tanbenbaun for an hour ot two, 7 pm till 9 ish?

Could a staff member check if its Ok please?

I need to get away from my light pollution.

I'll bring you a few eyepieces to try out.

Indeed it was a good couple of hours  Thanks for the company Rob and the views through your Dob.

Skies were clear but surprisingly a bit of sky glow reducing contrast, however clouds kept away for at least 1.5 hours so we had the pick of winter objects.

I took the ed80 binoscope and was pleased with the performance on DSOs and double stars.

Twas nice to get out under stars again.

Note to self, fingerless gloves enable one to operate a scope until the minus one temperatures get to the exposed fingers.
