Dean Watson Posted February 16, 2019 Share Posted February 16, 2019 Hi, was doing an outreach event the other night and my synscan handset was playing silly sods (turned out you have to now mash the enter key really hard). Anyway, did without even a one star alignment (was only showing the children the moon) and left it to track under its own devices, i.e. poorly. Now this has occurred to me before but when unaligned it appears to track/run but not at sidereal rate for some reason. Anyone have any guesses what this rate actually is something more weird going on? Just curious, no big deal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
