I agree David, but I use it for image taking that's all. I use PHD 1.2 and Wifi. I have not seen the need to use plate solving (yet)

and I tried EQMod ages ago before Wifi (which I find so accurate!). Good video though and I've kept the link for future use..

Whatever works best for you Ron ? I love plate solving, no star aligning , no faffing with a finder scope , bang on target ?
