New goto mount for Zenthistar

Recommended Posts

djpaul

I recently purchased a Skywatcher AZ GTI mount to use with my William Optics Zenithstar 73 .

Tonight ive hooked it up to a Tracer battery.

I have to say this is my first ever goto mount and star alignment was simple.

Left it tracking the Pleiades since 7.00pm and it has stayed right in the centre of my Televue 26mm Nagler for 2 hours.

Great little light weight goto mount

Yes White and Black.

I find with the extension legs of the tripod left folded down it gives me a really comfortable view sitting on a patio chair.

The phone app is simple and easy to operate.

Never bothered with a goto up till now as i really wanted to learn the night sky myself.

But this is so nice and simple to set up. im very happy with it fir the price
