Comfortable Observing Height

Hi guys

I am after a bit of advice.

I have a Skywatcher eq5 Pro goto Mount which is set to its minimum height.

This is okay when I have my 200p newt mounted on it (it is a little too high Eyepiece wise, when observing a target on the zenith but that is not too much of a problem.

When I put my Skywatcher 80ED DS Pro refractor on the eq5 Mount anything anywhere remotely nearing the zenith the Eyepiece in the diagonal is at such a low position it is very difficult getting low enough to look through the Eyepiece.

Ideally I do not want to increase the leg length of the tripod every time I decide to go from the 80ED to the 200p newt.

What do you guys do in this situation?

Graham

How many times a night do you intend to go from one scope to the other?
