gfletcher Posted March 1, 2019 Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hi guys I have ordered an EQ5 extension tube to attach to my mount allowing me to observe more comfortably when using my ED80 Proo refractor. currently my Synscan box is mounted on the leg of the tripod . The problem I will now have is that the right ascension cable which goes from the mount to the Synscan box is not long enough when using the extension tube. Have any of you guys come across this problem and if so how do you secure the Synscan box as it needs to be higher up than on the top of one of the tripod legs. cheers Graham Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
