We drove to Newcastle upon Tyne to see my daughter on Friday, and stayed in a hotel there. Yesterday we drove to Kenmore at the top of Loch Tay, Scotland to chill out for 5 nights. Then we finish off with 2 nights to have a nosey round Edinburgh. My wife is driving me to a local distillery tomorrow for some whisky sampling. It is very chilly up here, 3" of snow this morning but it's now melted except on the hilltops.
