On my normal walk around Atteborough Nature Reserve I spotted two proud Egyptian Geese with their young.

Lovely Mick, great shots. Seems early for chicks, are the Egyptian Geese know for producing early?

If i remember correctly they were the first to breed last year down Attenborough as well, so I expect so Dave.

That's good to hear. We invested in a House Martin Nest box for the gable of our house, so hopefully they'll be on the way soon too. We had house martins nesting when we first came here, but haven't had any for about 15 years, although other people in the street still do. It'll be interesting to see if they use it.

I saw these this morning having a swim.  There were still seven chicks so doing well so far.
