On my Flickr an image by luis Romero Abell 1995  caught my eye soooo many galaxies,   stunning

It does make you wonder why so many, why in one specific place, and for what particular purpose? I'm sure it can't be just to make a pretty picture.....

He must have been using a fair sized scope.

Oh how I would love to get an image like that.

Just trying to get your head around the sheer scale of stuff like this blows your mind. Looking at similar images they have all been taken with research size scopes including Hubble.

Yes I have asked what equipment if indeed he did take it or is it a reposted Hubble type image yet to find out still a cracking image though
