Great idea Phil, I'm impressed. It's the same idea as sketching dso's or lunar, you pick up more detasils in the birds feathers and posture.

Its far more difficult than lunar and DSO drawing, birds move, fly away, dive etc just when youve sketched out the basic shape, so do you start again or carry on. The greylag was like that, it wouldnt stay still.

Really good Phil, beautifully done. I haven’t an artistic bone in my body, that’s a wonderful skill to have..
