+Graham Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 This incident happened on the main A12 / A14 Junction at Ipswich tonight at 5 O'clock tonight slap bang in the middle of the Friday evening rush hour. Not only did it bring absolute chaos to both main roads and the town center in the rush hour but was compounded by the fact thousands of people were coming into Ipswich for a concert by Rod Stewart. As you can see the lorry was left hanging precariously over the side of the fly over above the A14. Quiet how it never went right over I don't think anyone knows but thank god it didn't as the A14 below would have been bumper to bumper with fast moving traffic. The driver had to be rescued by the Fire service but only suffered minor injuries. Both roads are still closed as they try to figure out how the heck to recover it.
