Nice one Steve.

Is that a ROI shot ??

Thanks Graham - yes it is 600x 600  FPS102 7.8 msecs gain 70%  3000 frames 30 secs capture time.

I have a series of images that I could do with running through and if good enough try and remember how Winjupos works to derotate them.

Maybe a project for a rainy night ?

Are you using an ADC presently Steve ??

Yes I was.

am not sure if I have it set correcly and if it is really helping.

I was going to a with an without but got to caught up trying to get a decent run of files to process.

Lovely Steve. Do very little planetary, so can I ask, ROI=Region of Interest, so presumably you can concentrate on a smaller area, thus less data and higher frame rate?

I haven’t tried ROI on my mono 183 camera yet, (obviously I wouldn’t get colour), but good to know the principles..

Thanks dave

correct on the ROI

i think the mono cam is the way to go, with filters if you want colour or some of the UV filters work really well.

The colour cam is easier to process but not as sharp imo.

Another go with WJ derotate

5 stacks of 5% of 3000 frames derotated in WJ

Sharpened in imppg and layered onto the midpoint RGB stack as an L

WO132 2.5pm ZWO ADC ASI178 colour cam

Next try out I will also derotate the RGB stacks

Thats a lot better.

I recon once you de-rotate the RGB channels it will get rid of the blurring on the edges.
