So the dew buster heater arrived had a look at the manual so I’m assuming if I’m reading correct ports on RH x3 are temp controlled , I don’t have a temp sensor with it though I do have one I can try on my auto focuser to try , if no sensor used then it uses med temp by default, Q, is it better to use with a temp  sensor ?  The LH  side are med power , can’t see me using 8 dew bands at once I got two bands with it one 4 inch and one 3inch ish though I need a 5” for the mak

http://www.dewbuster.com/pdf/legacy-db_manual.pdf  update seems may need to source correct temp sensor

Never used a temp sensor.

Mine are controlled with a variable resister.

If they are warm to the touch that's good enough.

Never had a problem with dew or thermal currents.

All this techy stuff means more to worry about and more to go wrong.

I am all for  stress free imaging which is probably a contradiction in itself.
