Soon be time to say good-bye.

Well its been an interesting few weeks to say the least having this character around.

He has taken over my obs, my garden and pretty much my house as well.

Not to mention most of my waking hours.

But my goal has always been to get him fit and well and then back to the wild.

He has made a remarkable recovery.

His injuries were far worse than I had first suspected as it transpires he is now totally blind in his left eye due to the head injuries he suffered.

Not that this seems to phase him much.

Well today he made his first real attempt at flying.

He has been working up to this for a few days now with various attempts and exercise routines.

The bottom corner of the garden was probably not the brightest place in the garden to attempt this but there you go.

Prepare for lift Off.

Doesn't he look pleased with himself.

My guess is it will soon be time to say good-bye.

That is if he can ever drag himself away from the food bowl 😂
