Climbed Helm Crag better known as the lamb and lion walk  at  grasmere  in the Lake District , even managed to convince the mrs it would be worthwhile and the effort was well rewarded, certainly opens your lungs up but what a sight at the top view is stunning at 1300ft would recommend if your in the area though we descended on the other side of the lamb a much more pleasant descent than the climb .

I was up there last October....and we got a bit lost !!

Theres another nice walk there (a flat one !) that takes you round Grasmere and Rydal water.

Grasmere is a beautiful place, and it has a hidden treat....

Sarah Nelsons Grasmere gingerbread shop ?

I hope you dropped by....
