What a brilliant nights imaging.

Had a great night tonight despite Mr Blobby being on high beam.

 

First up was the Flying Bat Neb.

This proved to be just a tad too close to Blobby as it got badly washed out.

Did try HA and OIII but the OIII got washed out completely so no Squid this time.

 

To give some idea of the coverage of the QSI this image would have been a 6 panel mosaic with the 414 EX with the QSI it is a single image.

 

All the following were taken with the GT 81 and the QSI.

All captured in Maxim

Minimum of processing in PS 6.

 

12 subs at 600 seconds in HA.

 

 

Next up was M45.

This was done in HA, OIII and SII.

10 subs at 300 seconds for each channel.

 

 

Next on the agenda was NGC 2238 or the Rosette Neb.

Straight HA capture as it was very low down.

 

10 subs at 300 seconds in HA.

 

 

Finally just to prove Autumn is really here the first M 42 of the season.

You lucky sod clouded up here in the Midlands about 8pm (nice sunset) Images look brillant is that the first M42 of the season??
