I have downloaded the software and manual and fitted it to my NEQ6 with the provided adaptor. +RonC Posted September 17, 2019 Author Share Posted September 17, 2019 Well pleased with the test. I must remember to switch on the mount to track Polaris first next time! Calibrated it with 9 stars (it wasn't far out!) which was fairly easy. I added my guide scope and used PHD 1.4 and was amazed at the tracking, best yet! Only did a bit of visual and finished early but it looks like Friday and Saturday nights may be clear to really test it with some AP. If there's a clear spell tonight I'm going to do some test subs, unguided and guided at different timings as a test. I'll keep you posted.. Bottletopburly Posted September 23, 2019 Share Posted September 23, 2019 That’s a very flat line Ron never had anything near that flat , mind my mx ra /da are something like 2500ms , I never know what I should be adjust I run guiding assistant and accept what it recommends , to get it flatter all hit and miss , mind I use phd2 and now use the predictive pec algorithm and that works really well after a few worm turns .
