Whilst performing the full-spectrum modification, I also made an internal thermal contact between the metal of the tripod hole and the sensor frame with copper tape (Sadly I don't have any photos). That was version 2. The final mod was a vertical copper plate thermally epoxyed to the cold plate, which contacts the rear face of the camera, behind the tilting display.
