I think these are new.

Chinese OEM no doubt as they are also sold by Tecnosky apparently.

Type:    Binoviewer
Prism diameter:    30 mm
Clear aperture:    28 mm
Optical path:    118.66 mm
Connection telescope side:    1.25" with filter thread
Eyepiece side connection:    2x 1.25" receptacle with compression ring
Interpupillary distance:    adjustable from 54.4 mm to 77 mm
Dimensions:    124x116x47 mm
Weight:    718 grams

They look OK for around £350.

I've not seen this before : the price and the oversized prisms make it a very compelling choice.

BUT......

As good as it looks i still would opt for a 'Powerswitch' type system.

With experience i've realised i much prefer the convenience of a powerswitch which gives 3 different powers for one set of eyepieces.

You actually get spoiled in a way having such a feature at your disposal.

You can spend a lot on eyepieces pairs as you know and if you have say, 3 pairs, by the time you add the cost of them up, plus the bino,

plus things like GPCs you can find the cost of a powerswitch is comparable or maybe even cheaper.

It's also a bit on the weighty side.

Oddly I tend to use these 20mm SWAN's the most.

I only use the bino's with my 127mm Mak anyway. Often in combination with one of three GPC's.

Another thought......?

If the above binoviewer from TS you posted is new, then where does that leave the Maxbright Mk 2 ??
