Cannot see the point with only 2 usb ports.

You need at least 4.

True you can add another usb hub but then that defies the object of having the hub

I see, all becomes clearer.

What do you use the pi4 for.

At the minute nothing, I am waiting for APT update 3.90 which will allow me to control mount, camera ,auto focuser via indigosky installed on pi4 so the pi will just be a server on mount , this saves me using Remote Desktop on laptop , so can sit in house and only need one laptop   , you can also use directly with indigosky via tablet if you wanted though that still waiting for dslr driver which will  be released with the APT update, I could use other software on the pi4 but I like APT so will stick with that for now .

Interesting

Talking of interesting there is another Astro software new kid on the block called N.I.N.A.

https://nighttime-imaging.eu/

windows based,  free , seems highly rated, seems to be a lot of SGPro users switching over to it but can’t run on a pi4, which is no good for me , there’s a thread on sgl  https://stargazerslounge.com/topic/330920-a-new-deep-sky-image-capture-software-on-the-rise/
