The wife bought me Pixisight for xmas, and this is my first image processed with it from last night. Only 10 x 30 second subs with the asi294mc pro. A few darks and bias no flats. I lot to learn but the aim was to see if I could edit out the blown core. Not sure on the blues still need to learn a lot.large.Rotated_M42_TIFF_ABE.jpg.5c5fe42241dd4c2ea6f286674c3c9483.jpg

Ah, PixInsight, I’m thinking of going down that route Alec. I did the 45 day trial about a year ago and found it very hard. I think I need to man up and commit, there is an awful lot of good press about it.

Agree the blues are an issue, but you should be really pleased to get something out of it so quickly, well done

I've just been watching a tutorial on RGB colour adjustment in Pixisight, just need to go through the stages. Its a complex software but looks very powerfull

So far I'm impressed Dave, its quite complex to look at but so far, I've found a few good online tutorials that got me to that original stage quickly, so quite happy. You still using a pc for controlling everything, you've all zwo kit. The asiair is a game changer. I'm even going to add one to my obs get rid of all the cables and complex softwares
