Preliminary notice:

Clear Outside is showing good conditions for Tannenbaum on Saturday.

Anybody up for a meet, starting about 7 pm, if the forecast holds?

Bryan

Was just about to post about a meet on Saturday if the W stays clear. Either site for me as it's a faf with new kit night.

I'll let Sharon know a bit nearer the time.

@bryand I've moved this post to the official meet thread as Admin will be in attendance.

Any objections to a newbie joining you on this occasion, and what sort of time do these sessions tend to finish?

Regards,

Tim

No, your first time to both of the dark sites is free, after that, if you like the location and the people, then we ask you become a dark site member, that's £20 a year and gives you unlimited access to both sites.

With regards to times, most people tend to pack up any where between 23:00 and 02:00, but a few of us have been known to see the sun come up!!!

Weather normally dictates what time we pack up though.

Do you know where to go @AstroTim?

I'm looking to get up there about 7ish. I could meet you at the hurt arms and you can follow me up if you're not sure.

Hi @tuckstar, Thanks, for sending the instructions through. I should be okay finding the site from them. I’m likely not going to be able to get there until a little later so probably best if I meet you all there rather than keep anyone waiting. Tim

Tim be careful while driving over the field as there is a telegraph pole in the middle of the field don't want you to hit it.

Thanks for the warning. It was also mentioned in the instructions sent through, so there’s no excuses now if I do hit it !!!

I  agree.  I'm not certain it's even worth loading the car up.  I'll probably try for Monday instead, which is looking clear.  So far.

I'm wondering if it's worth packing the car. I'll leave it a bit, but it's not looking good and I don't fancy setting up at 10 at night.

Sunday or Monday is better for me Bryan actually.

If it looks good weatherwise and you want to meet up, shout up.
