Below are details of 2020 meeting dates for the East Lincolnshire Astronomy Club.

 

MEETING DATES  2020, (Doors open 7pm)

Talk  titles be confirmed

Mar 28th -         AGM

A number of items to be discussed Election and re-election  of committee members. Membership price increases. Also any proposed events for the coming year including a Perseid meteor shower  Star Party in August. Any member who has something they would like to have discussed or bring up you are very welcome to do so. 

Apr 18th  - Julian Onions - Things That Go Bang In The Night.           

May 16th - John Dunthorne - “Gemini"                 

Jun 20th  - Paul Money (FRAS)- Why are There No Green stars.

Jul 18th    -TBA

Aug 15th  -Observing Night (perseid Meteor Shower)

Sept 19th -TBA.

Oct 17th   - Pete Williamson.Whirlpools In Space - The Birr Telescope & Beyond.  ( Earl Of Rosse )   

Nov 21st - Sue Parr - Ladies Of The Night - Those Who Can Look.

Dec 12th --Christmas Meal ( Pre Book Only)

Hello Mark,

Are there any dates later in the year being held or are they all cancelled?. I visit my daughter who lives in Alford and it would be good if I possible to meet up on a group meeting while I'm over that way.
