Sorry to be ignorant but can you tell which part of the sky that they came from?

 

I'm planning a spot of "Lyriding" this evening. Unlike a normal Sunday, I don't need to go to bed early, as I'm not working at the moment.

Not at all Phil.

I am receiving the reflected signals from a radar in France.

So they will be coming from a Southerly direction and up towards the zenith when I get them .

This doesn't mean that is the direction of the meteors it is just the direction I get the signal from.

There is a way of working out the direction of travel from the frequency spikes and width but that is way above my threshold and inclination.
