Popular Post +RonC Posted April 23, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) Last night using a dim M101 I tried different exposures and different Gains. the 600 and 300 s ones were not as good as I thought they would be and the best of the tests turned out to be 120s at gains of 200 and 300. So I'll start some more tests (when it's clear) ans refine it even more. I have also got Dark's, Flats and Bias subs ready. 20 x 120s at 300 gain. There is some amp glow on the RHS which I'll keep an eye on!! There is a long and scientific reasons for it which is way beyond me , but basically with an odd number you cannot double up a random artifact to create noise as an odd number always cancels it out. +RonC 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
